The Mercedes-Benz EQA will launch in Australia starting next month, with deliveries kicking off in June.
The electric crossover will be offered in two versions, the EQA 250 and the EQA 250 Edition 1, priced at AU$76,800 (US$58,400) and AU$84,100 (US$63,950) respectively.
A 66.5 kWh battery, positioned beneath the floor for optimum weight distribution, powers the 140 kW (190 PS / 188 HP) and 375 Nm (277 lb-ft) of torque electric motor mounted at the front, and gives the car a 480-km (298-mile) range. Charging it at the optional Wallbox from 10 to 80 percent takes 4 hours and 15 minutes, while with a DC connection, the time drops to 30 minutes. Two charging cables, for domestic sockets and public charging stations, are included.
