The first ever Ferrari SUV, the Purosangue, may be edging ever closer to becoming a reality, but we’re not any wiser when it comes to its looks. And that’s because we’ve only seen test mules of the Purosangue clad in the bodywork of either the GTC4lusso or the Maserati Levante.
Nevertheless, Photoshop artist Giorgi Tedoradze has created two renderings of the Purosangue, trying to envision a possible styling direction for the SUV.

The front of the SUV depicted is extremely aggressive and includes sharp headlights with sleek LED daytime running lights. Look further down the front fascia and you will notice angular air intakes and secondary running lights. Also of note are the pronounced creases running up the two-tone hood.
As aggressive as the front of the Purosangue is, the rear-end is more striking and includes small taillights, an LED light bar, and two tailpipes exiting from the middle of the trunklid. As novel as it looks, that last part ain’t happening – period – as it would make zero sense in a vehicle that’s supposed to be practical, not only because it would increase the boot height opening, but also because you’d risk getting… burned in the process of using your trunk after a ride.
The rear bumper is dominated by an outlandish diffuser which looks good in these renderings but obviously won’t be featured on the actual Purosangue.
Looks aside, it is understood that the SUV will be powered by the same twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 as offered in the GTC4lusso, albeit tuned to pump out about 650 hp, putting the Ferrari on an equal footing to the Lamborghini Urus. It seems unlikely that a naturally-aspirated V12 version of the Purosangue will be released.
