Peugeot has introduced new Roadtrip edition versions of the facelifted 3008 and 5008 in Europe, which sport different exterior shades and extra equipment.

Following hot on the heels of last year’s 308 Roadtrip, the 3008 Roadtrip can be ordered in Celebes Blue, Mother-of-Pearl White, Vertigo Blue and Ultimate Red, whereas the 5008 Roadtrip comes in Copper Brown, Ultimate Red and Mother-of-Pearl White.

They are adorned with special ‘Roadtrip’ edition logos on the front fenders, which are also displayed inside on the floor mats. The special edition variants of the two crossovers have stainless steel door sills, synthetic leather and Alcantara with contrast stitching, aluminum pedals and a generous amount of gear, such as the Allure Pack Equipment, Easy Package with parking assistant and 360-degree cameras, and Grip Control that improves traction.

Peugeot’s drowsiness warning, blind spot assist, lane departure warning with steering intervention and others are also included. The electric tailgate, smartphone wireless charging and trailer coupling are just some of the extras, while the 5008 Roadtrip is offered with a third row of seats as standard.

Besides the usual ICE family that meets Europe’s latest emission standard, the 2021 3008 Roadtrip can be ordered with one of two plug-in hybrid powertrains. The AWD Hybrid4 300 e-EAT8 combines a 200 PS (197 HP / 147 kW) PureTech engine with two electric motors that develop 110 PS (108 HP / 81 kW) and 112 PS (110 HP / 82 kW) respectively, for a combined system output of 300 PS (296 HP). The 2WD Hybrid 225 e-EAT8 has a 180 PS (177 HP / 132 kW) PureTech petrol mill and a 110 PS (108 HP / 81 kW) electric motor, for a total output of 225 PS (222 HP).
