The automotive world goes wild whenever a new Porsche 911 GT3 is launched and it hasn’t taken long for enthusiasts to begin imagining what their dream GT3 would look like.
Shortly after Porsche launched its online configurator for the sports car, the Champion Porsche dealership in Pompano Beach, Florida has rendered the new GT3 in four different colors from Porsche’s Paint-To-Sample program.

The first color featured is Arena Red Metallic, a dark shade of red that’s similar in color to a plum. We think it suits the car beautifully and nicely contrasts the various carbon fiber parts throughout the exterior. Other colors rendered include Oak Green Metallic, Mint Green, and our personal favorite, San Marino Blue Metallic.
If you can look past the purposeful exterior of the new GT3 you will find a 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six that can rev to 9,000 rpm and delivers 502 hp and 346 lb-ft (469 Nm) of torque. The engine of the latest GT3 is almost identical to the powertrain of the new 911 GT3 Cup race car and also includes six independent throttle bodies for excellent throttle response.
As standard, the new GT3 comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission but customers can also opt for a six-speed manual transmission. Evidently, a lot of buyers will do just that as Porsche expects 40 per cent of buyers to select the stick shift. The six-speed is particularly popular in the U.S. with a 70 per cent take rate.
