Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has ambitious goals to make a road-legal version of its 007 that will compete in the Le Mans Hypercar class, named the 007S.
Taking to Facebook, James Glickenhaus revealed that the company will need to secure 24 orders to make the project viable, with each car commanding a price tag of $2.3 million. If the company fails to secure those orders, customers who have paid a deposit will be refunded.
The plan is to make the hypercar legal for use in the U.S., and probably Europe, Middle East, and Japan as well. It will be sold as a three-seater with a central seat for the driver and sport an aerodynamic package that’s up to LMH standards.

Glickenhaus didn’t say what powertrain the car would feature but is targeting 1,400 hp. That’s considerably more than the 670 hp extracted from the regulations-restricted 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 of the 007 Le Mans racing car. Factor in the fact that the car will only weigh 2,800 lbs (1,270 kg), and you’re looking at some serious performance.
All vehicles produced by Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus have a focus on racing so the 007S will come with onboard air jacks that will allow owners to easily mount race-ready wheels and tires. In fact, the target is for the car to do 100 laps on a circuit and still be ready to drive home.
The 007S will be available in the U.S. through authorized SCG dealers and, if everything goes according to plan, deliveries will commence two years from locking 24 orders.
