The 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible was pretty unremarkable, but that didn’t stop one owner from keeping theirs tucked away in a heated garage for 30 years.
Set to be auctioned by Mecum next month, this Cutlass Supreme Convertible is likely the nicest and lowest mileage example in existence as it has only been driven 571 miles (919 km) in the past three decades.
There’s no word on why the car has spent most of its life in storage, but the model looks virtually brand new. The listing is light on specifics, but says the Cutlass is equipped with the Sport Appearance package which includes unique bumpers and 16-inch aluminum wheels.

Moving into the cabin, there a red leather seats and matching carpeting. The model also has air conditioning, power front seats and a CD player. Last but not least, there’s a “rallye” instrument cluster which is the predecessor to the digital instrument clusters we know today.
Power is provided by a 3.1-liter V6 engine that produces 140 hp (104 kW / 142 PS) and 180 lb-ft (244 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an automatic gearbox which sends power to the front wheels. While that combination won’t blow you away, the car has been equipped with a new gas tank and fuel pump as the originals likely rotted.
There’s no auction estimate, but it’s hard to put a price on cars like this and it should easily exceed its Kelly Blue Book value of approximately $2,800 (£2,042 / €2,368).
