A man in Southfield, Michigan has been arrested after stealing a Bentley Flying Spur from a luxury car rental business.
On Monday, the man walked into Dream Luxury Car Rentals and expressed interest in buying the white Flying Spur that was parked outside. Before long, the man had grabbed the keys to the Bentley but rather than stealing the car then and there, he simply walked off with the keys.
It wasn’t until the following day that he returned and actually stole the Flying Spur, speeding away in the luxury sedan. Unfortunately for him, CCTV footage captured at the rental business on Monday provided authorities with a clear view of his face.

Local 4 News reports that police were able to track down the man after the owner of Dream Luxury Car Rentals, Sam Zahr, received various tips about his whereabouts. Police initially spotted the white Ford Escape that the man drove into the business and despite the thief’s best attempts to make an escape in the Ford, police surrounded him and placed him under arrest.
The officers found the keys to the Bentley in his pocket and the Flying Spur has since been returned to its rightful owner.
Had the thief been wearing his face mask properly, as opposed to having it hand down below his mouth, he would have been able to better hide his identity and may have had a better chance of evading the police. Evidently, he wasn’t that smart.
