TechArt Revisits The Porsche Taycan, Gives It A Custom Interior

Most of us can probably agree that the cockpit of the Porsche Taycan is anything but bland. TechArt begs to differ, so they have released a few upgrades that make it more vibrant.

The electric sedan pictured combines perforated leather and jet-black Alcantara in a honeycomb structure. The steering wheel features a similar makeover and displays the tuner’s logo in the middle. Their signature is also present on the seats and door cards.

Contributing to the makeover is the contrast piping, applied to the front and rear seats, dashboard, steering wheel, door cards and floor mats, and even to the boot mat. The drive mode selector and visible screws on the steering wheel sport a similar look, while the carbon fiber trim rounds out the updates.

As for the Taycan model whose interior served as a blank canvas for the tuner, it is a 4S, which sits above the base variant. It has up to 522 HP on overboost, and with the launch control function engaged, it needs just 3.8 seconds to complete the 0 to 60 mph (0-96 km/h) acceleration, while the EPA estimated driving range is 227 miles (365 km) with the battery fully charged. Pricing for the Taycan 4S starts at $103,800 in the United States.

TechArt’s cabin upgrade comes approximately nine months after they unveiled a new wheel set for the Taycan. The Formula VI forged rims can be personalized in different finishes and measure 22×10 inches at the front and 22×11.5 inches at the rear.
