Anytime the words Aston Martin and Zagato are in close proximity to one another, you know you’re in for a good time. Take, for example, this new DBS GT Zagato.
Unveiled at Dimmit Automotive Group in Florida for its new owner, the car is a very special example of a very special model. Powered by a 5.2-liter V12 making 760 hp, it can hit 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds and go all the way up to 214 mph. Just 19 of these gorgeous cars will ever be created, but you can’t just buy one.
The DBS GT Zagato must be bought as part of a pair along with a one-of-19 DB4 GT Zagato continuation cars. The track-only recreation car is based on the Astons built between 1960 and 1963 and is powered by a straight-six churning out 380 hp.

Together, the cars cost £6 million ($8.3 million USD). Since there are only 19 pairs, each is pretty special. But the owner of this one opted for a particularly unique spec.
This model was used as a prototype, which explains the grille that’s different from other production DBS GT Zagatos. It is also the only bare carbon version of the car. Laid in a herringbone pattern, two lines of carbon meet in the middle almost forming an arrow pointing forward. The dark exterior is mirrored on the interior, which also all black save for a few aluminum highlights.
