While BMW continues developing the new-generation M2, G-Power decided to make the current M2 CS a whole lot more exciting by introducing a four-stage power kit for it.
Starting with the Stage 1 kit, it brings a software optimization, backed up by a central screw lock for the crankshaft that protects the bi-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six engine, to unlock 500 PS (493 HP / 368 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. That’s a 50 PS (49 HP / 37 kW) and 100 Nm (74 lb-ft) boost over the standard model, making it more potent than the new M4 Coupe, which has 479 PS (473 HP / 352 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) to play with.

Opt for the Stage 2 upgrade and you get 540 PS (532 HP / 397 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque, thanks to an ECU tune and a stainless steel exhaust system, whereas Stage 3 throws in sport downpipes to the mix for a total of 570 PS (562 HP / 419 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft).
Still not enough?
G-Power has you covered with the most extreme proposal for the M2 CS. It adds new injectors and a turbocharger upgrade, for a neck-snapping 660 PS (651 HP / 485 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft). This actually makes the subcompact sports coupe more powerful than the Ferrari 458 Speciale, whose 4.5-liter V8 pumped out 605 PS (596 HP / 445 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft).
One will have to shell out €18,226 ($21,788) in Germany, including tax, for the ultimate upgrade kit, and they could end up spending much more on other options. The Hurricane RR forged wheels, 9×20-inch for the front and 10.5×20-inch for the rear axle, wrapped in 245/30 and 265/30 tires, increased V-max, re-mapped transmission software, carbon fiber engine cover and sports steering wheel are just some of the extras available for the M2 CS at the tuner.
