Ram will be auctioning off the very first unit of the 2021 1500 TRX, with proceeds benefiting the United Way for Southeastern Michigan’s 2-1-1 helpline that provides services to veterans and their families.
VIN 001, which is 1 of 702 Launch Editions, will go under the gavel at the Barret-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Friday, March 26, at 4:30 p.m. EDT (7:30 p.m. ET), and will be offered at no reserve.

Those interested in placing a bid can do so in person, but if they cannot attend the auction, then they can participate via phone or online on the official website here. The event will also be streamed live.
Finished in Anvil Gray on top of a black interior, the 1500 TRX #001 features a decent amount of gear, such as the carbon fiber interior trim, color accent package, head-up display, 19-speaker premium sound system from Harman Kardon, panoramic sunroof, and special graphics on the outside. Riding on 18-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch Wrangler Territory All-Terrain tires from Goodyear, it also gets the RamBar, Rock Rails and bed-mounted tire carrier from Mopar, as well as the Trailer Tow Group and Trailer Reverse Steering Control.
The highlight is obviously the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, which powers the entire 1500 TRX range. It pumps out 702 HP (712 PS / 524 kW) and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque, and is hooked up to an eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The performance truck needs only 4.5 seconds to accelerate from naught to 60 mph (0-96 km/h), and it can run the quarter mile in just a little under 13 seconds at 108 mph (174 km/h).
