The forthcoming Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus 007 LMH has been filmed being put through its paces at Monza, one of the F1 calendar’s most famous racetracks.
The boutique manufacturer and race team recently commenced testing of the vehicle and initially headed to the Vallelunga circuit in Italy. This video provides us with our first chance to hear the car at full chat and it certainly sounds the business.

Driving the SCG 007 is a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that was created by Pipo Moteurs. This engine features an innovative ‘artificial intelligence throttle’ that keeps the turbochargers spooled regardless of throttle input. The engine also features heads derived from those used by World Rally Championship cars.
Horsepower from this engine is capped at 670 hp to meet balance of performance regulations in the Le Mans Hypercar class. Some other teams entering the series this year, or in the coming years, will do with hybridized powertrains. Toyota is doing just that and using a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that works alongside a front-axle hybrid system that delivers 268 hp. To ensure it doesn’t go over the 670 hp limit, the Toyota GR010 Hybrid’s advanced electronics reduce engine power depending on how much hybrid boost is being deployed at any given time.
Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus will enter two cars in the championship with drivers Richard Westbrook, Romain Dumas, Franck Mailleux, Olivier Pla, Pipo Derani, Ryan Briscoe, and Gustavo Menezes.
