The all-electric Drako GTE has sleek looks and according to the company behind it, will also offer tremendous performance. It also looks rather graceful when being driven on ice.
These two videos feature racing drivers Andy Pilgrim and David Hackl testing the car both at the Winter Performance Track in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and across Georgetown Lake, also in Colorado. While we don’t actually get to hear what the two drivers think of the Drako GTE, we are provided with some glamour shots of the all-electric grand tourer.

From the outside, the GTE looks like a bespoke creation but in fact, it is based on the Fisker Karma. With a $1.25 million asking price, many would expect a hypercar built from the ground-up, not one based on an existing vehicle.
For what it’s worth, the GTE has powertrain technology distinct from the Karma. This includes a bespoke 90 kWh battery pack that is incorporated into the floor as well as four electric motors that combine to produce 1,200 hp and 6,491 lb-ft (8,800 Nm) of wheel torque. Those are some very impressive figures and according to the company, allow the vehicle to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in around 2 seconds as well as a top speed of 206 mph (332 km/h).
Drako had intended on starting customer deliveries of the GTE last year, but this has since pushed back to 2021.
