While the C8 Corvette Stingray is the Chevy of the moment, the C7-generation car is still mighty impressive, particularly in limited-edition Carbon 65 Edition guise.

The 2018 Corvette Grand Sport in question is currently up for sale on Bring A Trailer and located in Pheonixville, Pennsylvania. It is one of just 650 Carbon 65 Edition models produced to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Corvette and has only been driven 7,000 miles (11,265 km).

Differentiating the Carbon 65 Edition from standard Corvette Grand Sport models are unique decals across the exterior as well as a carbon fiber rear spoiler, front splitter, rear quarter intakes, and a hood insert. The car also sits on 19-inch and 20-inch aluminum wheels with staggered Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The original owner also opted for the available carbon ceramic brakes with blue-painted Brembo calipers both front and rear.

A plaque in the cabin denotes this car as #298 of the 650 produced. Also found within are sports seats upholstered in Jet Black Nappa leather with blue stitching and microsuede inserts. Carbon fiber accents can also be found throughout, the Bring-a-Trailer listing reveals.

The C7 Corvette Grand Sport was arguably the most well-rounded C7 variant sold to the public. Sure, it still had the same naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter V8 as the Stingray rather than the Z06’s supercharged mill, but it had similarly striking looks to the Z06 as well as a unique suspension tune including Magnetic Ride Control.
