A popular YouTuber has been hit with 18 criminal charges related to off-roading stunts he performed in his Ram 1500 TRX.

In various videos shared online, YouTuber Street Speed 717 jumped his 1500 TRX over a stream and in a separate video, was filmed driving down a stream. He says these videos were filmed on private property but evidently, that hasn’t stopped the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) from getting involved, The Drive reports.

The YouTuber reveals that after his videos were posted online, he has been hit with two counts of Disturbance of Waterways and Watersheds, six counts of Pollution of Waters, six counts of Littering, and four counts of Misuse of Property and Waters. He isn’t happy with the charges and in one of the videos below, expresses his disbelief.

In the case of the Misuse of Property and Waters, the charge states that he did not “ford in the most direct manner.” Street Speed 717 adds that his truck wasn’t leaking any fluids when speaking about the Pollution of Waters charge. According to him, the stream isn’t a “habitat” for anything, even though it’s possible that there would be some animals, no matter how small they might be, that do live there.

The YouTuber goes on to suggest that “the government just can’t help itself” and is trying to throw the book at him, claiming it could be due to the fact that the video of him jumping the TRX “got 1.6 million views.”
