The 2021 Nissan Qashqai goes on sale in the UK market, with the carmaker releasing the full range and pricing details of its all-new electrified SUV.

Prices for the 2021 Nissan Qashqai start from £23,535 in the base Visia trim level, which is powered by a mild hybrid 1.3-liter DiG-T engine with 136 HP (140 PS) with a manual six-speed transmission.

The range also includes the Acenta Premium, N-Connecta, Tekna, and the range-topping Tekna+ trim levels. The most expensive version of the new Qashqai is the Tekna+ AWD Xtronic model with the 154 HP 1.3-liter DiG-T mild-hybrid engine, at just under £38,000.

Prices for the much advertised 187 HP ePower self-charging hybrid version of the new Nissan Qashqai have not been released yet.

Nissan’s best-selling SUV rides on the CMF-C platform and is slightly bigger in every dimension than its predecessor, including a 20mm-longer wheelbase. As a result, the new Qashqai offers a roomier more practical cabin, with the rear doors now opening to 90 degrees and the luggage space is bigger by 50 liters.

The interior is also made out of higher-quality materials, according to Nissan, and features an all-digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster with configurable layouts, a new 10.8-inch heads-up display, and a 9-inch high-definition infotainment system with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay.

Customers opting for a Qashqai with the Xtronic CVT transmission will also get the option for the latest version of Nissan’s ProPilot driver-assistance system. The ProPilot with Navi-link as it’s called can bring the car to a complete halt in heavy stop-start traffic conditions, and communicate with the onboard blind-spot radars, read road signs, and use data from the navigation system to adjust the vehicle’s speed accordingly.

A limited number of the special Premiere edition models are still available to UK customers, with first deliveries to kick off this summer.
