Toyota is introducing the new 2022 Sienna Woodland Special Edition for those who either wish minivans were a bit more off-road friendly or SUVs were a bit more practical.
The only visual differences you’ll find between the regular Sienna and the Woodland are the exclusive Cement exterior color, dark badging and dark chrome detailing, as well as a set of roof rails with crossbars.
Toyota has also added a 0.6-inch suspension lift to go with the standard Hybrid All-Wheel Drive system, a tow hitch with 3,500-lb towing capacity, and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels to the 2022 Sienna Woodland special edition.

Inside, you’ll find black sport-trimmed seats with unique stitching, second-row captain’s chairs, flexible seating and cargo layout, kick-activated sliding doors, no less than seven USB ports across all three rows, and a JBL audio system with 12 speakers, among others.
Just like in the regular Sienna, the Hybrid AWD system utilizes a separate electric motor to power the rear wheels, proving instant additional traction at all vehicle speeds. Toyota says that the system sends up to 80 percent of power to the rear wheels during off-the-line starts and when driving on slippery surfaces.
As standard, the 2022 Sienna Woodland also comes with the second-generation Toyota Safety Sense suite that bundles together various driver-assistance systems, such as a Pre-Collision system with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Lane Trace Assist, Full Speed Adaptive Cruise Control, and more.
Toyota will make a $250 donation to the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) for each Sienna Woodland sold, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $250,000. The first examples will reach US dealerships this fall.
