First things first: the Porsche 959 you’re looking at isn’t real. However, were this insane creation from Abimelec Design to ever see the light of day, it would likely create quite an uproar.
Few vehicles produced by the German car manufacturer are as highly-regarded as the 959 and when it was launched, it gave the Ferrari F40 a proper run for its money. One aspect of the F40 that the 959 couldn’t match, however, was the Ferrari’s wide, mid-engined supercar stance. That’s where this creation comes in.

Abimelec Design has created a widebody kit for the 959 that flares the front and wheel arches in a way fitting of a RAUH-Welt Begriff creation. The Porsche has also been bathed in a stunning shade of blue that accentuates the new body lines and really catches the eye and sits on a set of custom Rotiform wheels.
Given how rare the Porsche 959 is, with just 337 examples ever produced, we wouldn’t expect any owners to be willing to make such bold modifications to their car to mimic what Abimelec Design has created. And that’s probably for the best; a car like the 959 is the type of vehicle that’s best preserved in original condition.
