The more well-heeled among you will no doubt know that Bentley sells furniture alongside its cars. Its latest quartet of products includes a couch made out of marble dust.
The actual material is called MARM-MORE and is making its debut in the furniture world with this couch. Eventually fashioned into a fabric, the material starts as the bi-product of marble production. The dust is mixed with a special composite to obtain liquid microfilm, which is then mixed with textiles to produce a fabric and a circular economy.
Available as both a loveseat and a sofa, the Ramsay line in both light grey and natural green, or you can opt for leather cushions. The wooden section is available in warm grey fiddleback sycamore, burr walnut root, smoked liquid ambar, or leather-covered.

The other new additions to the Bentley furniture line are the Styal desk and the Aldford table. The desk is available in the same woods and can be finished with Degradé lacquering. The process requires furniture-makers to first varnish the wood then skillfully airbrush the lacquer on. The whole thing is then polished to give it an intricate and textural look.
Finally, the Aldford table comes in either a circular or a rectangular shape and is topped with marble. I guess we know where the dust came from. Under it there is a glossy black section, then a metal edge, before the wood of the table legs.
Again, the legs are offered in burr walnut, smoked liquid ambar, or leather-covered. The top can either be of Calacatta or Valentine Grey Marble. It can alternatively be made of glossy burr walnut, smoked liquid ambar, or warm grey sycamore, and Degradé lacquering is applied to all the wooden sections.
Annoyingly, prices are not listed in the press release or on the Luxury Living website’s shopping section, but you can see all of the dimensions at Bentley’s website.
