Brabus wasted no time in delivering an upgrade package for the new generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Aimed at cars equipped with the AMG Line, the Brabus bundle brings a front spoiler that’s said to improve the aerodynamic efficiency, new side air intake surrounds, integrated LED side markers and rear bumper insert, with cutouts for the new exhaust pipes. There’s also a naked carbon boot lid spoiler in the works.

A series of 19-, 20- and 21-inch aluminum wheels, tailormade for the 2021 S-Class, are available from Brabus as well. The ‘Platinum Edition’ alloys have different patterns and come in combination with various wheels, from Continental, Pirelli or Yokohama. On the pictured car, the 21-inch set matches the exterior color and is shod in 265/35 front and 305/30 rear rubber.

Brabus enhanced the S-Class’ stance by lowering the ride height by up to 25 mm (1 in), depending on the selected driving mode, with the company claiming that it does not compromise the luxury sedan’s comfortable ride.

Fine leather upholstery in porcelain and black adorns the interior of the pictured example, together with shadow chrome coating for all switches, carbon fiber trim and exclusive scuff plates that can light up in white or change color in sync with the ambient lighting.

The 3.0-liter mild-hybrid inline-six engine of the S500 gains 65 PS (64 HP / 48 kW) and 70 Nm (52 lb-ft) of torque with the Brabus plug-and-play module, which unleashes a total of 500 PS (493 HP / 368 kW) and 590 Nm (435 lb-ft). This enables a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration in 4.7 seconds, down from 4.9 seconds, while top speed remains capped at 250 km/h (155 mph).

A performance upgrade for the turbodiesel powering the S400d lifts the engine’s output and torque from 330 PS (325 HP / 243 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft), to 370 PS (365 HP / 272 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft), for a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.2 seconds, an 0.2-second improvement, and a 250 km/h (155 mph) V-max.

Brabus is also working on other power upgrades for the petrol, diesel and hybrid lineup of the new S-Class.
