Like moths to a flame, some people can’t get close enough to the action. Of course, when that happens, they are in danger of getting burned.
That’s certainly the case this time around as a group of people surrounded a Ford Mustang, which was drifting and doing donuts in a parking lot.
Everything seems to be going fine, but the crowd is a little close for comfort. That will come back to haunt someone as the Mustang goes wide and flicks the rear end right into an onlooker.

As you can see, the man notices the danger shortly before impact and apparently tries to jump backward. However, they weren’t quick enough as the car slams into them and throws the man to the ground.
The force of the impact ripped off the rear wing, but thankfully the man appears uninjured as he gets up as the video ends. That being said, we can’t imagine it was an enjoyable experience.
This person isn’t the only one who got a little too close to the action as we’ve seen numerous other close calls and accidents over the years. Last month, a bystander narrowly avoided getting hit by a Dodge Challenger in Los Angeles. A year prior, a Dodge Charger lost control and went into a crowd of spectators in Texas.
