A wide variety of Honda and Acura vehicles made between 2018 and 2020 are being recalled in the US due to a fuel pump issue.

As many as 628,124 vehicles will have to have their fuel pumps replaced as a result of an impeller (the part that sucks fuel through the lines) can fail. If it does, it can cause the vehicle to stall, which could increase the risk of a crash.

Fortunately, the companies say that no crashes or injuries have been reported as a result of the fault. The recall remains bad news for Honda, though, which will have to recall the CR-V, the company’s top-selling vehicle.
