Now, an email recently sent to Ford dealerships has confirmed that the order bank, order guide, and price list for the Mach-E GT will be announced on April 26 while customers will be invited to convert Mustang Mach-E GT reservations into proper orders on April 28th.

The email, reposted on the Mach-E Club forum, adds that new orders made for the Mach-E GT likely won’t land until the 2022 model year. As such, anyone who wants to take delivery of a Mach-E during the 2021 model year will first need to place a reservation before converting this into an order on or after April 28th.

As a reminder, the two electric motors of the Mach-E GT allow it to pump out 459 hp and 600 lb-ft (813 Nm) of torque, grunt that is sent to the pavement through all four wheels. Providing these motors with their power is a 98.8 kWh battery pack, allowing the SUV to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in the mid-3-second range while also achieving a range of up to 235 miles (378 km) on a single charge. Shoppers not won over by the Mach-E GT will also be available to order the GT Performance Edition model with 480 hp and 634 lb-ft (860 Nm).
