More of a roadmonster than a Roadmaster, this 1995 Buick wagon has been given the off-road treatment and is up for sale.
Power for this Roadmaster comes from a 5.7-liter V8 that is rated at 260 hp and 355 lb-ft of torque, enough to get you up and off the tarmac in a hurry. The engine is coupled to a 4-speed automatic transmission and all of those pounding feet are funneled straight to the back wheels.
More importantly, though, there’s the 5-inch spring lift that’s been added to this dad-mobile. To really round the look out, the wheels have been swapped for 15-inch Cragar steelies and are wrapped in 31-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain K02 tires. It also has Bilstein struts and ACDelco load-leveling shocks.
A skid plate has also been fashioned out of a speed limit sign. Above it, Britax off-road lighting has been added.

One of the last examples of a body-on-frame full-size American sedan/estate, the Roadmaster kind of has more off-road bona fides than a Hyundai Santa Cruz. And given its size, we wouldn’t be surprised if you could haul more with this, too.
But the piece de resistance, really, is the wood veneer. How much more at one with the wild could you be?
“This thing is just plain COOL!” writes Doug DeMuro, on whose auction site this vehicle is offered. “I love these old-school B-Body wagons, but I particularly love when people do cool things with them – like, in this case, install a lift kit and some off-roader tires.”
The auction, held on Cars & Bids, is set to close on April 28 at 5:00 PM and the price is actually pretty reasonable right now. At the time or writing, the highest bid was $7,500.
