McChip-DKR has launched a two-stage upgrade for the McLaren 765LT, further enhancing its performance.
By retuning the ECU, Stage 1 boosts the output and torque of the motor to 843 HP (855 PS / 629 kW) and 656 lb-ft (890 Nm), increasing top speed to 208 mph (335 km/h) too, all in return for €4,999 in Germany, or $5,862 at current exchange rates.
Stage 2 brings a neck-snapping 925 HP (938 PS / 690 kW) and 715 lb-ft (970 Nm) by adding new downpipes to the in-house-developed software. Top speed is equal to the lesser offering, and the upgrade costs €13,890 ($16,289).

McChip states that they are working on an even more powerful upgrade for the 765LT with a new ECU tune, downpipes and new turbos that will lead to “four-digit performance values”.
The 765LT’s twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 has, according to McLaren, 755 HP (765 PS / 563 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque at the crank. However, they might have understated the power, because one example put out 765 HP (776 PS / 571 kW) and 596 lb-ft (808 Nm) at the wheels during a dyno run. From nought to 62 mph (0-100 km/h), it needs 2.8 seconds and will max out at 205 mph (330 km/h).
The British supercar had an MSRP of $358,000 in the United States, but the entire global run of 765 units has been spoken for, as the carmaker has recently announced.
