Stellantis has introduced the Mopar ’21 Ram 1500 special edition.
Based on the Ram 1500 Big Horn/Lone Star Crew Cab 4×4, the truck features a gloss black grille surround, black exhaust tips and black decals. They’re joined by black badges, black painted mirrors and 20-inch wheels with a black finish.
Rounding out the highlights are black running boards, a spray-in bedliner and a body-color tonneau cover. The truck also comes with tow hooks, adjustable tie-downs, and a color palette that includes Billet Silver, Bright White, Flame Red and Hydro Blue.

Interior changes are modest, but include premium cloth seats with light diesel gray stitching and embroidered Mopar logos. The special edition also has all-weather floor mats, Molle bags and an individually numbered badge.
Buyers will also receive a Mopar ’21 owner kit that is housed in a custom box. It includes a “custom-made, personalized metal certificate of authenticity with serialized vehicle-build number and a special rendering of the truck by the Mopar Design team.”
Power comes from a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that produces 395 hp (291 kW / 400 PS) and 410 lb-ft (556 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system.
The Mopar ’21 Ram 1500 will arrive at dealerships this summer and production will be limited to 250 units. 40 will be available in Canada, while the rest will be offered in the United States.
The special edition package costs $8,500 and this is on top of the truck’s $43,465 base price. Throw in a $1,695 destination charge and you’re looking at a total price of at least $53,660.
