Nissan has just launched a new advertisement and marketing campaign showcasing the brand’s newest models and starring actor Brie Larson.
This particular ad spot is dubbed ‘The New Nissan’ and focuses on many of the brand’s new models. After all, it has revealed 10 new products over the past 20 months and many of them are featured in this commercial. The advertisement will debut this weekend during the NCAA March Madness Tournament.

The commercial kicks off with Larson driving a classic Datsun 240Z and talking about how cars like the 240Z were about freedom and ignited passion within those that drove them. In more recent years, Nissan says this has been lost. Larson is then shown driving the new Nissan Z Proto, the Frontier, the Leaf, and a Rogue. The advertisement finishes with Larson driving away in the all-electric Nissan Ariya.
“At Nissan, we want to thrill people at every turn and we’re excited to showcase this with our completely refreshed product lineup,” vice president and chief marketing officer of Nissan U.S. Allyson Witherspoon said in a statement. “We’ve been working with Brie for more than a year and she definitely brings the spirit of our message to life in this latest campaign.”
Alongside this commercial, Nissan has launched its ‘Thrill’ marketing campaign that showcases the new and exciting direction adopted by the Nissan brand.
“It’s been incredible to work with the Nissan team as we prepare the launch of the ‘Thrill’ campaign,” Larson added. “Whether it’s a road trip or your daily commute – driving should bring a sense of joy. We’re excited to celebrate the freedom in driving.”
