It’s not very often that a people mover catches the attention of the world quite like the Hyundai Staria. In this review from Motograph World in Korea, we are provided with an in-depth look at both the exterior and interior of the new MPV.
The most striking aspect is, obviously, its exterior design. Hyundai’s designers left no stone unturned in making the new Staria stand out on the road, equipping it with an eye-catching LED light bar up front and separate units that house the headlamps. Other unique aspects are the tall side windows and the massive taillights with a similar pixel design to the Ioniq 5.

The example featured in this review is the luxurious Lounge variant that will be offered in Korea but not in other markets.
A look inside reveals some other unique aspects of the Staria. For example, it features a 10.25-inch front display, a button-type electronic shift lever, and a large touchscreen infotainment system. Moreover, the opening to the tailgate is extremely low and sits roughly in line with the knees of the reviewer, improving accessibility and making it that much easier to load cargo into the trunk.
The Staria also features what Hyundai refers to as the ‘Universal Island’ which is a trick center console that offers a huge amount of space and also gives the vehicle a flat floor in the front row.
