The guys at the NHET TV channel on YouTube have finished work on one of their most bold creations to date: a Bugatti Chiron model crafted entirely from clay.

For decades, car manufacturers have crafted clay models to perfect the designs of new vehicles and this video proves that with some skill and patience, anyone can build one as well.

To create their Chiron, the YouTubers constructed a steel frame in the basic shape of the car and then started to layer on the clay by hand. It took them two long weeks of 19-hour workdays to finish the model. Making things all the more impressive is the fact that the entire car was based on a tiny scale model of the Chiron.

The finished result is seriously impressive. Sure, the car isn’t functional but it is the closest thing you can get to a real Bugatti Chiron without spending millions of dollars on one or buying a pathetic-looking replica.

We first came across the NHET TV channel in mid-2020 when the two youngers from Vietnam were crafting a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ replica powered by a tiny 150 cc motorcycle engine. In that case, the duo also started off by crafting a bespoke steel frame for the car and then crafted the exterior from cardboard and painted it in Lamborghini green.
