VW Drops New T-Sport20 Design Kit For The Transporter 6.1, Because All Vans Need Spoilers

Volkswagen and ABT Sportsline have partnered up to launch a design bundle for the Transporter 6.1. Available from the official Volkswagen Van Centers, they give a sportier look to the van and can be added to both normal and long wheelbase versions of the Highline.

Pricing starts at £1,400.55 in the United Kingdom, which equals to $1,947 at the current exchange rates. For the money, customers will get a new front bumper attachment, matte black side steps and roof rails, and a roof-mounted spoiler for a more aggressive stance, in one of 14 different colors.

If you noticed those Y-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels,  then you should know that they are also available, though not as a standalone option, but as part of the same T-Sport20 styling pack. This brings the tally for every part mentioned here to £2,187.58 ($3,041). A set of springs that bring the Transporter’s body 30 mm (1.2 in) closer to the ground are also available.

UK pricing for the Transporter 6.1 Panel Van starts at £28,518 ($39,638). The Transporter Sportline is offered from £52,626 ($73,146) and the ABT e-Transporter electric model comes from £44,461 ($61,797). The Shuttle and Kombi versions can be ordered from £39,656 ($55,119) and £32,640 ($45,367) respectively.
