Modern cars have a lot going for them, including advanced electronics, a plethora of safety features, and refined and efficient engines. However, if you’re after something a little more old school that will remind you of what cars used to be like, this 1954 Studebaker Wagon restomod might do the trick.
Studebaker was founded in 1852 before the invention of the car and acted as a coachbuilder for wagons, carriages, and buggies. In the early 1900s, it ventured into the world of automobiles and created some very unique vehicles. In fact, I still remember the first time I saw a Studebaker as a young teenager and was left enamored with the classic looks and the V8 soundtrack.

This particular Studebaker is up for sale from Streetside Classic Cars in Florida on eBay, has 18,755 miles on the clock and has been restored and modified.
Powering the car is an LS1 5.7-liter V8 that is coupled to a four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. While the listing doesn’t specify exactly how much power the car has, the original LS1 V8 was rated at up to 350 hp and 365 lb-ft (495 Nm), more than enough for a vehicle of this vintage.
This Studebaker Wagon is painted in a shade dubbed Black Ice while the hood features subtle ghosted flames. The car is also sitting on staggered 18- and 20-inch wheels front and rear and features an air suspension system to adjust the ride height. Other upgrades include power windows, cup holders, an air conditioning system, and an upgraded stereo system with USB input and JL Audio speakers.
