A 2005 Ford GT has come up for sale on Bring A Trailer with no reserve. However, it should fetch a pretty penny as bidding had already reached $216,000 with nine days left in the auction.
The supercar was delivered new to Tommie Vaughan Motors in Houston, Texas and was sold on Bring A Trailer for $280,000 in December 2020. It is now being offered with a Deluxe Marti report, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.

This Ford GT is finished in Mark IV Red with white stripes and the listing notes that the car recently had a paint correction to make it look like new. Complementing the red paint are the (optional) BBS forged-aluminum wheels that measure 18-inches at the front and 19-inches at the rear and are wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires measuring 235/45 and 315/40 respectively. Matching the paintwork are red-painted Brembo brake calipers.
The cabin of the mid-engined supercar includes manually-adjustable Sparco seats clad in Ebony leather with carbon fiber seat shells. Key features include air conditioning, a tilting/telescoping steering wheel, and an optional McIntosh stereo system with a CD player. A look at the odometer reveals the car has been driven just under 11,000 miles (~17,700 km).
Like all first-gen GTs, it uses a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 that delivers 550 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. This power is sent to the rear wheels courtesy of a six-speed manual transmission with a helical limited-slip differential.
