Fiat has launched a new version of the Tipo compact hatchback in the United Kingdom. It’s called the Tipo City Sport, brings a subtle visual makeover and decent equipment, and is priced from £20,695 ($28,582) on-the-road.
The brand’s latest addition to the range stands out thanks to the glossy black details on the grille, side mirror caps and door handles. It also features 18-inch diamond alloy wheels and ‘Sport’ badges on the front fenders.

The interior of the Tipo City Sport features a leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob with black stitching, chrome bezel on the steering wheel, and chrome accents on the air vents and handbrake button. Standard equipment also includs full LED headlights with automatic beam and LED taillights, reversing camera, front parking sensors, keyless entry and go, and electrically adjustable and heated mirrors.
Power is supplied by a 1.0-liter petrol engine that delivers 100 PS (99 HP / 74 kW) at 5,000 rpm and 190 Nm (140 lb-ft) of torque at 1,500 rpm. It takes 12.0 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill and will keep going up to 191 km/h (119 mph).
The 2021 Tipo hatchback family starts at £17,695 ($24,438) for the entry-level model, followed by the £19,695 ($27,200) Life. Then comes the City Sport, which is topped by the £21,695 ($29,963) Cross. The Station Wagon is offered in two specifications, priced from £19,195 ($26,510) and £21,195 ($29,272) respectively.
