The all-new Jeep Grand Wagoneer is quite impressive but for high-end variants, prices exceed $100,000 and let’s be honest, most people don’t have that much money to spend on a car. However, if you’re willing to drive something a little older, you can get behind the wheel of a Grand Wagoneer for much less than six figures.

This 1990 Grand Wagoneer is up for auction through Bring A Trailer at no reserve and at the time of writing, with just a few hours left to run, the highest bid stood at $18,250. That may sound like quite a lot for an SUV that is 31 years old but it looks to have been well-maintained and is just so damn cool.

The listing reveals that this Grand Wagoneer was first sold new in January 1990 in California before being acquired by the current owner in October 2003. It now has a touch over 170,000 miles under its belt and is being sold with factory literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title.

The exterior is painted in Dark Baltic Blue Metallic that was repainted before 2003. Contrasting the blue paint are the iconic faux woodgrain accents running across the sides and rear of the Grand Wagoneer. The SUV also features a chrome roof rack, a trailer hitch receiver, and fog lights, while the standard 15-inch wheels are wrapped in 235/75 Toyo Eclipse tires fitted in September 2012.

Despite the vehicle’s age, it has power-adjustable front seats and fold-down rear seats clad in tan leather with patterned cloth inserts. The cabin also features tan carpets and woodgrain trim across the dashboard.

Powering the 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a 5.9-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine coupled to a three-speed automatic transmission and Selec-Trac four-wheel drive.
