A rare 2017 HSV GTSR Maloo is currently up for sale from a dealership in Australia with a price tag of AU$749,998 (~US$583,000).
While the GTSR Maloo may not be familiar to some international readers, it was the ultimate version of Holden’s Maloo ute before the car manufacturer ceased its operations. Just 600 examples were made and this particular example that is listed up for sale from Gardner Autos in Western Australia is number 600, which makes it the last to have been built.

Following Holden’s demise, prices for rare HSV models have skyrocketed, culminating in a 1 of 4 GTSR W1 Maloo selling at auction in January for a staggering AU$1.05 million ($819,000). This example was originally listed for AU$899,998 ($694,000), but that price has since been dropped by AU$150,000 (~$116,000). Even so, this is still Lamborghini Aventador money.
The dealer says that it took delivery of this GTSR Maloo when it was new and has kept it in pristine condition ever since. It will be sold with a letter of authenticity from the former managing director of HSV confirming that it is indeed the final GTSR Maloo that was ever built. The listing confirms that the car has never been registered and has only been driven 151 km (94 miles).
Powering the potent ute is a 6.2-liter LSA supercharged V8 pumping out (583 hp) 435 kW and 546 lb-ft (740 Nm) of torque, sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
