The stunning 2021 Lexus LC Inspiration Series is about to go on sale in Australia. The automaker expects less than five units to arrive in the country, which will be available on a strict order-only basis through official dealerships.

The model is offered in two specifications, the LC 500 and LC 500h. The former is also the most affordable of the series, having an MSRP of AU$219,393 (US$170,154). It is powered by a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 that delivers 351 kW (477 PS / 471 HP) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. The LC 500h packs a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain with a combined 264 kW (359 PS / 354 HP) and starts at AU$219,553 (US$170,278).

Review: The 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible Is Worth Every Penny – If You Can Afford It

Inspired by the world of aviation and aeronautical engineering, the 2021 LC Inspiration Series can be had in Onyx, White Nova or Sonic Silver. It features black ornamentation on the grille, bumper garnish, side rocker molding, headlamp surrounds and other parts, and rides on 21-inch wheels. The forged set is unique to this specification and comes in a monotone black look with a thin twin-spoke design. The center piece of the build is the carbon fiber fixed rear wing, which helps increase downforce and make the car more stable at high speeds.

The pictured vehicle is a left-hand drive model, with a black leather-accented cockpit with saddle tan accents and Alcantara inserts. The latter can be found on different parts of the cabin, including the steering wheel, gear shifter, door cards and center console.

Like every LC, the Inspiration Series is offered with the Lexus Encore Platinum program, which provides access to valet parking passes, dining and accommodation offers, vehicle loan via the Lexus on Demand service and experiences with the brand’s ambassadors.
