A Swiss company by the name of Officine Fioravanti has previewed the updated and modified version of the iconic Ferrari Testarossa that it is developing.

While many key details about the vehicle remain under wraps, it is understood that the Ferrari has been equipped with a multitude of modifications. For example, it features various improvements to the chassis that promise to improve handling and make it even more enjoyable (and capable) to drive. Among these updates are Ohlins electronic dampers and adjustable anti-roll bars.

Autocar adds that Officine Fioravanti has modified the car’s standard 4.9-liter flat-12 engine and while it is unclear just how much power it might have, the company is targeting a top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h), well beyond the Testarossa’s original vmax of 180 mph (289 km/h). The iconic Italian supercar also features a bespoke titanium exhaust, Brembo brakes with ABS, and a traction control system. A set of new alloy wheels have also been bolted on and wrapped in racing tires.

“We carefully listened to the car’s needs and desires,” the Swiss design house said in a statement. “We patiently took care of every single aspect. Few minor details have been changed in terms of style, without compromising a timeless design but enriching its pureness.”

Images of the Testarossa’s interior have yet to be released but the company says that it has trimmed the cabin in new Italian leather while aluminum accents replace the car’s original plastic parts. The car will weigh 120 kg (264 lbs) less than it did when new.

No pricing or availability details have been announced at this stage.
