Adding 110 mm (4.3 in) to the wheelbase of the S450 4Matic, the S580 L 4Matic brings standard Nappa leather upholstery, an MBUX augmented reality HUD, thicker windows that reflect infrared light, active multi-contour front seats with massage, and others. With greater refinement, even more rear seat space, luxury appointments and more power, the Mercedes-Maybach S680 4Matic uses the brand’s bi-turbo’d M279 V12, with 463 kW (629 PS / 621 HP) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft), a nine-speed auto, all-wheel drive, adaptive suspension and rear-wheel steering.

It boasts a 180 mm (7.1 in) longer wheelbase over the standard versions and brings rear comfort doors, exclusive Nappa leather upholstery, rear-seat entertainment, a Burmester premium audio, adaptive ambient lighting, heated seats and armrests up front, woodgrain in Nappa steering wheel, a TV tuner, DAB+ digital radio, and wood trim.

The model is distinguished by the specific grille with vertical bars, 20-inch forge alloy wheels and two-tone paint finishes available as an option.
