The Toyota Supra is back, but the model has proven a bit too Germanic for some people.
If you’re part of that club, perhaps you’ll be interested in this 1997 Supra Turbo 15th Anniversary Edition.
Set to be auctioned by Barrett-Jackson next month, the model features a Deep Jewel Green Pearl paint job that appears to be flawless. The car also boasts a removable targa top, special badging and polished 17-inch alloy wheels.

While the listing doesn’t include interior pictures, the car has black and tan leather as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Other niceties include an automatic climate control system, cruise control and a CD player.
Motivation is provided by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 320 hp (239 kW / 324 PS) and 315 lb-ft (427 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a six-speed manual, which sends power to the rear wheels.
This setup is notable for a couple of reasons as 1997 saw the return of the DIY gearbox and it’s reported to be one of just 768 Supras sold in the United States that year with both the six-speed manual and twin-turbo engine. The listing also notes the vehicle and powertrain are completely stock as nothing has been modified.
The Supra has only been driven 58,240 miles (93,728 km) in the past 24 years and it’s being sold without reserve. There’s no auction estimate, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it brings in a pretty penny.
