The Porsche Taycan family may grow even further with the launch of GTS and Sport Turismo variants.
Since launching the Taycan, Porsche has been steadily expanding the range, first with an entry-level rear-wheel drive variant and then with the sexy Cross Turismo estate. Now, a report has surfaced suggesting that Porsche will introduce a GTS version of the Taycan while also adding a third body style, dubbed the Sport Turismo.

This information comes from a member of the Taycan Forum and while the post has since been deleted, it was quite interesting. According to the forum member, he was recently at a Porsche dealership ordering a Taycan 4S Cross Turismo when the salesman he was working with left a screen unattended during the ordering process. This screen reportedly included codes for new Taycan GTS and Taycan Sport Turismo GTS.
Quizzed about the models, the salesman reportedly confirmed that they are on the way but didn’t know when they would launch.
A GTS variant of the Porsche Taycan will slot between the 4S and Turbo in the line-up. Other Porsche GTS-badged models are often slightly lighter than the models on which they are based so the same can be expected with the Taycan, which may also receive some styling tweaks to help it stand out.
As for the Taycan Sport Turismo, it will allegedly retain the same shape as the Cross Turismo but make do without the exterior body cladding. It will also sit slightly lower to the ground, while it remains to be seen whether it will retain the off-road gizmos of the Cross Turismo or not.
