Back in the 1930s, it was quite common for luxury cars like Duesenbergs to have spare wheels in their front quarter panels. Evidently, the owner of this Chrysler 300 has taken some inspiration from these cars.
This bizarre 300 was recently spotted in a Walmart parking lot and images of it were predictably shared to the Shitty_Car_Mods page on Reddit. There likely aren’t any Chrysler 300s in existence that look as bad as this one – and that’s probably for the better.

The first thing that catches the eye is the bright yellow paintwork that immediately makes the Chrysler stand out. Then you will notice the thin, ‘spare’ wheel and tire mounted to the left front wheel arch. The owner has even gone to the trouble of painting the sidewall of this spare tire in white to add to the classic look. Curiously it looks as though this wheel actually hits the front driver’s side wheel at full lock. We’ll chalk that up to a design fault.
A smattering of other changes have been made to the car. For example, it features a new chrome front grille and bonnet emblem, as well as chrome mirror caps, door handles, pillars, additional grab handles on the C-pillars and a full-size spare wheel at the rear.
