The Genesis G70 family recently grew with the introduction of the G70 Shooting Brake, but could it grow even further with a two-door model?
As we recently revealed, a video published by Genesis to YouTube revealed sketches that seemed to be showing a G70 Coupe. The company insists that these sketches don’t mean such a car will make it into production, but that hasn’t stopped Kolesa from rendering what a potential coupe from Genesis could look like.

While Genesis hasn’t previewed a G70 Coupe in prototype or concept guise, it did reveal the stunning X concept back in March, which continues the ‘Two Lines’ theme that is now featured across the broader Genesis line-up and is one of the most gorgeous concept cars unveiled in recent memory.
Kolesa’s renderings for a coupe model from Genesis are based on this concept but tweak the design to look more fitting of a production car. As such, the vehicle sits a little higher but for the most part, the front end has gone unchanged. More significant changes have been made to the sides with more traditional doors, regular wing mirrors, and re-shaped pillars.
Alterations continue at the rear and include slightly thicker taillights, a less pronounced lip spoiler, and a production-spec bumper with large tailpipes.
While it’s unknown whether Genesis will one day introduce a G70 Coupe, or any coupe for that matter, it would make for a nice addition to the luxury brand’s expanding lineup.
