Manthey Racing has worked its magic on the 991.2 Porsche 911 GT3 RS and recently took the car to the Nurburgring to see what it was capable of.
With Porsche works driver Kevin Estre behind the wheel, the new GT3 RS MR lapped the Nurburgring’s old configuration in 6:49.656, making it a few seconds faster than a standard GT3 RS that needs 6:56.4 to lap the famed German circuit. On the updated configuration of the track that sees the start and finish lines placed at the same position rather than roughly 225 meters (738 feet) apart, the car needed 6:54.340 to complete a full lap.
