Based on recent spy shots, it appears as though the 992-generation Porsche 911 GT3 RS will be even more track-focused than its predecessor and closely resemble the GT3 Cup car. For some, we suspect this radical new styling will be a bit too much and may dissuade them from reaching for their chequebooks. In that case, they might want to consider a 991.2-generation GT3 RS like this one.
This particular car will cross the auction block at a Mecum Auctions event in Monterey in mid-August and is in as-new condition with just 130 miles (210 km) on the clock. As such, it will no doubt attract quite a lot of interest from Porsche enthusiasts looking for their next track toy.

The exterior is clad in a simple shade of gloss black and while that may not seem particularly noteworthy, most 991 GT3 RS models you’ll come across are finished in bright colors, making this one stand out. The black paint has been perfectly complemented with satin black wheels, black badges, and yellow brake calipers.
As nice as the exterior is, we think the interior is even better. The car’s original owner had the cabin bathed in a mixture of black leather and Alcantara that is contrasted with various red accents, including the seatbelts, floor mats, trim on the center console, and the gauges. The car has also been equipped with the Sport Chrono package that is finished in Guards Red.
The 991.2 GT3 RS is powered by a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six that churns out 513 hp (520 PS) and 470 Nm (347 lb-ft) of torque and redlines at 9,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and an electronically controlled locking differential with torque vectoring.
