A 1986 Chevrolet Camaro that has been comprehensively modified is currently up for sale, but with a $99,885 ‘Buy It Now’ price, it certainly isn’t cheap.

The car is located in San Angelo, Texas and according to the seller, work on it was only recent completed. It’s now likely one of the fastest road-legal third-generation Camaros out there and has only been driven 160 miles since work modifying and restoring it was completed.

Slotted beneath the hood is a new 7.0-liter GM LS7 create engine that works alongside a Circle D torque converter, a custom 4L80e automatic transmission, a carbon fiber driveshaft, and a Ford 8.8 rear-end. The seller doesn’t state how much power the car has but claims it can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 3 seconds and has a theoretical top speed of 235 mph (378 km/h).

Alongside the engine, the ’86 Camaro features a black ceramic-coated stainless steel exhaust system with adjustable Varex XForce stainless steel mufflers. The car is also rocking a custom intake and has new K&N air filters.

Elsewhere, the muscle car has been modified with aftermarket body panels made from fiberglass and includes new fenders, rear quarter panels, and a distinctive hood all repainted in a bright shade of red with “Iroc-Z” stickers on the side. The interior has been left largely stock but the listing notes that the carpet has been replaced. A Jensen double-din stereo with new Pioneer speakers has also been fitted and includes a reversing camera.
