It doesn’t take a genius to work out that transporting a fridge with a family sedan is a bad idea and a van or pickup truck is much more suitable for the job but despite this, the owner of this Toyota Camry obviously thought otherwise.
Police in New South Wales, Australia recently came across this Camry transporting a fridge on its trunk near the famed Bondi Beach. The only thing securing the fridge to the car were some straps tied to the C-pillars. To avoid damaging the trunk of the Toyota, the owner put down a towel.

Local police clearly weren’t very happy with what they saw and quickly issued the driver with an infringement notice for the unsecured load. They also made sure that the driver made alternative arrangements to transport the fridge before they were able to leave the scene.
It is unclear how long the Camry had been on the move with the fridge when it was pulled over but, thankfully, it did not fall off, or it would pose a serious hazard to other motorists.
