The Buick Enclave is getting an facelift for 2022 that features an updated design, new safety features, and improved “Avenir” trim features.
Buick restyled the front end to include slim new headlights, a new grille, and a new bumper design. The rear fascia, although similar in shape, has also been redesigned with a reworked bumper and LED design for the taillights.
Inside, Buick has updated the center console to include a push-button electronic gear selector. To match its sophisticated looks, the automaker has also taken care to furnish it with premium soft-touch materials, and the seats can optionally be heated and ventilated. Moreover, on top of warming and cooling you, the seats will also be able to massage you.

Although all models are getting the update, the range-topping Avenir trim features unique front and rear fascias, grille, taillight and liftgate design, wheels, and its own special colors. Inside it has its own applique trim, distinctive seating patterns with piping, as well as a chrome cargo sill plate.
The Avenir will also come as standard with heated, ventilated, and massaging seats, while the available adaptive suspension technology will ensure that the ride is as comfortable as the seats.
Power will be supplied by a familiar 3.6-liter V6 that makes 310 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque and is paired to a nine-speed automatic gearbox. The engine will drive the front wheels as standard, but AWD is available.
The SUV’s latest safety tech suite is called the Buick Driver Confidence Plus Package and comes with automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane-keeping assistance, and lane departure warning. It also has blind spot alert, rear parking assistance, forward collision alert, a following distance indicator, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams.
Also available are a rear mirror camera which turns the rearview mirror into a screen that can display high-def footage of what’s going on behind you, rear pedestrian alert, a color heads up display, front park assist, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Buick Enclave will continue to be built at GM’s Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan. Pricing and fuel economy ratings are expected closer to its on-sale date later this year.
