From our experience, many Tesla owners are particularly proud of their cars due to the simple fact that they are electric. However, for some reason, it seems that the owner of this Model 3 would like other motorists to believe that they are actually driving an ICE-powered vehicle.
This photo was recently snapped somewhere in Europe and shared to Reddit and shows a Tesla Model 3 that has been outfitted with some questionable modifications.
For starters, the electric sedan has been fitted with a large fixed rear wing that looks quite out of place on the curvaceous bodywork of the Model 3 and would look better on a JDM car from the mid-2000s. In addition, the Tesla is rocking a set of unique taillights that feature a complex LED light signature.

However, the strangest modification made is the fitment of four fake tailpipes at the rear. As the Model 3 is electric, it has no need for exhaust pipes but clearly, the owner of this car thought they somehow add to the look of the car. We think they look bizarre and when this thing pulls away from the traffic lights, the lack of engine sound will be a dead giveaway to unassuming motorists that it is electric, despite what the tailpipes may suggest.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen someone try to make the Model 3 more ICE-like. Last year, exhaust manufacturer Milltek Sport unveiled a sound generator system for the car that allows you to pump out fake exhaust sounds.
