When Dodge came out with the Challenger SRT Demon back in 2017, it totally changed the performance car game, at least in terms of straight-line performance. Unsurprisingly, some people realized that this limited-production drag car for the road would soon become an appreciating asset, so they decided to capitalize on that by locking them away in garages instead of taking them to the road – or, even better, the drag strip.
The result is cars like this 2018 Demon listed on Cars & Bids that still has the original protective plastic on its seats. Take a look at the odometer, and you’ll see it reads a mere 121 miles, meaning the only travel it’s ever seen was likely to and from a dealership. This car is number 1,136 of 3,000 and it comes with all relevant documentation, including the owner’s manuals, build letter, and original window sticker.

The Demon is finished in its launch-spec TorRed paint and comes with the yellow protective splitter guard. Unfortunately, the car is not being sold with the optional Demon crate, and whether the seller is just declining to include it or just never ordered it to begin with it is unclear. However, with the highest bid at the time of writing being $114,666 (its original sticker price was $89,256), the crate would have been a nice addition.
The interior was optioned with the Customer Preferred Package, meaning it comes with such luxuries as a front passenger seat, which was in fact a $1 option on this car. The package also includes leather and Alcantara upholstery, front floor mats, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a power-adjustable steering column, bright pedals, and an 18-speaker sound system.
Of course, the real star of the show is this car’s engine. The 6.2-liter supercharged V8 pumps out 840 hp (852 PS / 626 kW) and 770 lb-ft (1,044 Nm) of torque on 100+ octane gas, or 808 hp (819 PS / 603 kW) and 717 lb-ft (917 Nm) of torque on pump gas. It sends all that power to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission, and is able to achieve a 2.3-second 0-60 mph (97 km/h) time along with a 9.65-second quarter mile time.
