Hennessey Performance has begun churning out its Mammoth 1000 TRX, based around the already-insane Ram 1500 TRX.
As standard, the 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 of the 1500 TRX is good for 702 hp and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque. Those figures are more than enough for most people but as history has taught us, no standard production model is too powerful for Hennessey.

With that in mind, Hennessey has fitted a high-flow 2.65-liter supercharger, new fuel injectors, and crafted a bespoke high-flow induction system that lifts power to 1,012 hp and 969 lb-ft (1,313 Nm) of torque. This allows the insane pickup truck to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.2 seconds while storming down the quarter-mile in 11.4 seconds at over 120 mph (193 km/h).
Hennessey is building just 200 examples of the Mammoth 1000 TRX and says that it has already sold over 100 of them. Most of those to order a Mammoth first purchase a highly-specified stock model and have Hennessey install both the Mammoth 1000 package and the Stage 2 off-road enhancements. This package includes unique bumpers, LED lights, a front levelling kit, 37-inch off road tires, and upgraded electronic fold-out steps.
All Mammoth 1000 models produced by Hennessey include a 2 year / 24,000-mile warranty. Buyers can expect to pay around $150,000 for a complete Mammoth 100 TRX, not a small some for a pickup truck but quite cheap considering the vehicle’s massive horsepower and torque figures.
